The Designer/Maker
Hello!
I have had a lifetime of exposure to pottery, however only recently have I called it my craft. I grew up in Golden Bay, New Zealand amongst my father's pottery and have spent my life working towards becoming a ceramicist.
In 2000 I graduated from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Industrial Design. Since then I have worked for various contemporary design firms and manufacturers and developed and sold products of my own. I now reside back in Golden Bay where I work in a small studio on my property. Using contemporary and traditional techniques I like to explore and celebrate the marriage between craft and design.
